Right next to the Troy Aquatic Center, this spot gets a lot of foot traffic in the summer for good reason — it’s an easy add-on after a swim. The wheelchair-accessible design means it’s actually usable for more kids than your typical playground, which you don’t always see around here. Avery Park is right there too, so you’ve got options if you need to stretch the outing out a bit. The open grass field gives kids room to just run around, which honestly sometimes beats any equipment. Worth knowing about if you’ve got a mixed-age or mixed-ability group.
