Compressed Rubber Playground

Harmon Park’s got a solid little setup here, and the compressed rubber surface is genuinely one of the better calls they’ve made — way easier on knees than packed dirt or wood chips, and accessible for kids who need that. It sits right by Harmon Pool and Memorial Field, so you can easily make a whole afternoon out of it without moving your car. The walking path loops it together nicely if you’ve got someone who’d rather stroll than play. Locals know this corner of the park stays pretty well-maintained, which isn’t something you can say about every spot in Kearney.
