Out along Dam Road near Homestead Knolls Campground, this spot is worth knowing about if you’re passing through Burwell with kids in tow. The accessible design means it actually works for families with kids of different abilities, which you don’t always find out this way. It’s a simple setup, but the natural surroundings do a lot of the heavy lifting — good fresh air, open space, and a quieter pace than anything you’d find in a bigger town.
