Playground

Bowdoin Park is worth the trip out on its own, and the playground gives families a solid reason to make a day of it. The natural surroundings do a lot of the heavy lifting here — kids tend to wander and explore as much as they actually use the equipment. Just know going in that it’s not wheelchair accessible, so plan accordingly. Pack a lunch, because the picnic situation is genuinely good.
