Playground

Tucked inside Caldera Springs resort, this playground is the kind of place where kids disappear for an hour while you actually get to sit down and breathe. It’s a solid option if you’re staying at the resort and need somewhere for the little ones to burn off energy between pool time and whatever else is on the itinerary. The setting does a lot of the work — tall pines, fresh high-desert air, that whole Central Oregon thing. Not a destination if you’re driving across Bend just for a playground, but if you’re already on the property, it delivers exactly what you need.
