If you haven’t taken the kids out to the dunes yet, you’re missing one of the more underrated spots in eastern Idaho. There’s nothing structured here — no equipment, no crowds — just miles of open sand where they can run, roll, and completely wear themselves out. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best way. Locals know to come early before the wind picks up, and honestly, it never really feels overrun even on a busy weekend.
