Chee Chee’s Playroom

If you’ve got a toddler in Baton Rouge and it’s too hot (or too rainy, or just too much) to deal with the outdoors, this place is worth knowing about. Chee Chee’s Playroom is geared toward the under-5 crowd, so you’re not fighting for space with big kids running wild. Parents actually rave about how clean it’s kept — which, if you’ve ever taken a crawler to one of those grimy play places, you know that matters more than anything. There are benches so you can sit and actually see your kid the whole time, which I personally appreciate. It doubles as a party venue too, and the staff apparently make that whole thing pretty painless.
