Downtown Albuquerque’s Civic Plaza is one of those spots that locals know as a solid place to decompress between errands or meetings near the convention center. It’s a wide-open urban space, so don’t expect a ton of dedicated play equipment — this is more of a stretch-your-legs, let-the-kids-run-around kind of stop. That said, the open hardscape gives kids room to move, and the central location means you’re never far from somewhere to grab food or water. If you’re already in the area for something else, it’s worth a quick break.
