Most people drive right past this one, which honestly keeps it from getting too crowded. The shade here is legit — big trees plus covered seating means you’re not melting even in the middle of a Texas summer afternoon. Kids from wobbly toddlers up to around second or third grade all seem to find something to do, whether that’s the climbing structure, the slides, or just the swings. Benches are well-placed so you can actually keep an eye on things without chasing anyone down. Solid neighborhood spot that doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
