Waimānalo Playground

Out on the windward side where the Ko’olau mountains frame pretty much everything, this little neighborhood playground is about as local as it gets. Waimānalo folks know it as a solid spot to bring the kids without making a whole production out of it. It’s the kind of place you stop at because it’s right there, convenient to the rest of what the community has going on in this stretch of town. Nothing flashy, just a genuine neighborhood hangout that actually gets used by the people who live here.
