Ellon’s got a decent little setup here if you’ve got kids of different ages — the enclosed section keeps the wee ones contained while older kids have their own space to actually do something. The BMX track is the real draw for the older crowd, and it gets used regularly by local kids who clearly know it well. Parents can keep an eye on everything without much effort, which makes a difference. The walking paths alongside make it easy to stretch your legs while the kids burn off energy — a solid afternoon out without having to drive anywhere.
