Right in Portree, this spot has a decent-sized climbing structure that keeps kids genuinely occupied — the kind of apparatus you don’t see much elsewhere on Skye, so it gets points for that. It’s one of very few options around here, which says something about the area more than the park itself. Visibility is fine for parents, you can keep an eye on things without hovering. Honestly though, it’s seen better days — a bit of investment wouldn’t go amiss. Still, when the alternative is nothing, you’ll take it.
