Stobsmuir Play Park

Stobsmuir is one of those spots locals have quietly loved for years — the pond brings in ducks and swans year-round, and on a decent weekend you’ll often catch folk sailing model boats out on the water. There’s a water feature to keep the wee ones entertained, plus plenty of shade trees and picnic tables if you’re making a proper afternoon of it. The walking path loops through nicely, and come autumn the tree colors around here are genuinely worth the trip. It’s geared toward younger kids, so if you’ve got toddlers this is a solid pick over some of the bigger, busier parks in the city.
