Tentsmuir Playground

The climbing structure here is decent enough, but honestly it’s everything around it that makes this spot worth the trip. You’ve got the beach on one side and Tentsmuir Forest on the other, so the kids will likely abandon the play equipment within ten minutes anyway. Pack your own food or grab something from the creperie van that sets up nearby — it’s become a bit of a local institution. There’s a proper BBQ and picnic area, parking is easy, and the whole setup works for families with kids of pretty much any age.
