Fort William Road Play Area

Right on the edge of Mallaig, this little play area punches above its weight — mainly because of those sea views, which are genuinely hard to beat while you’re pushing a kid on a swing. The equipment is kept in good nick, which isn’t always a given in coastal spots where the salt air can wreak havoc. Parking is right there too, so you’re not lugging bags halfway across town. Locals know it, visitors stumble across it, and honestly it’s worth a stop either way.
