Colquhoun Park Play Area

Right wee gem of a park, this one. The zipline (or flying fox, as the kids insist on calling it) is absolutely the main event — expect a queue on any halfway decent afternoon. Beyond that you’ve got slides, swings, and a merry-go-round, so there’s enough to keep the 2-to-9 crowd busy without anyone moaning they’re bored. The pond nearby makes for a nice wander once they’ve burned off some energy, and the football pitch and open grass give older ones room to actually run about. Parking’s there if you need it, dogs are welcome, and it’s the kind of place locals come back to on a regular basis for good reason.
