The burn running through this one is the real draw — on a warm day it’s the kind of spot where kids and dogs both end up soaking wet and nobody really minds. It sits in a quiet corner of Bridge of Weir with views stretching out across Renfrewshire, which is a nice bonus. There’s a decent patch of grass for a kickabout or just letting younger ones roam, and the woodland walk nearby means you can easily stretch the trip into a proper afternoon out. Best with supervision if you’ve got little ones near the water, but honestly that’s half the fun of it.
