If your kid is football-daft, this is the spot to bring them on a weekend. The pitches are well-kept and there’s open grass space too, so younger ones can just run about while the older kids get a proper game going. Parking’s easy and the toilets are right there at the leisure centre, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a 4-year-old. The setting is genuinely lovely for Larkhall — trees around the edges, feels a bit like you’re out in the countryside even though you’re not far from anything. Solid facilities, nice surroundings, no complaints.
