Waterloo Park

Waterloo Park got a solid refurb recently and it shows — the place is genuinely well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in Wishaw. The play area is pitched just right for the under-10s, with slides and swings that the little ones can actually get stuck into without parents hovering too close. There are benches dotted around, so you can sit and watch rather than trail after them the whole time. The open grass field and walking path make it worth a longer visit too, especially if you want to stretch your legs after the kids have had their run-around.
