Honestly one of the better spots in Newcastle if you’ve got little ones under five — the climbing structure and slides are just the right size for toddlers without being overwhelming. It’s kept in decent nick too, which you can’t always say for parks around here. There’s plenty of seating and picnic tables if you want to actually sit down and have a snack rather than just hovering nervously, and the open grass gives kids room to properly run about. The neighbourhood itself is quiet, so you’re not dealing with loads of through traffic or noise. A solid, no-fuss choice for a weekday morning out.
