Humford Woods Play Area

Honestly, the play equipment here is pretty simple — a couple of slides, nothing flashy — but that’s not really the point. The woods, the river, and those stepping stones are what kids actually go mental for, and you’ll spend more time pulling them away from the water than the play park itself. There’s a proper BBQ area and plenty of picnic tables, so it’s an easy place to make a full afternoon of it rather than just a quick visit. Shade trees keep things comfortable in summer, and the walking paths through the woodland are flat enough that even little ones manage them without too much fuss. Local families have been coming here for years, and it’s not hard to see why.
