Milburn Park Play Area

One of the newer additions to Newbiggin, this seafront play area punches above its weight for such a small setup. The slides, swings, and merry-go-round keep kids busy while you actually get to enjoy the view — and what a view it is. You’re right on the coast, so keep an eye out for dolphins and the odd whale passing through; it happens more than you’d think. Parking is right there, which makes life easy if you’re coming with little ones and a pile of beach gear. Honestly, it’s worth combining with a beach walk while you’re at it.
