Windy Fields Park

Locals know this one’s a solid choice for younger kids — the climbing frame, swings, and slides keep the under-10s busy while you actually get to breathe for a minute. The green space is genuinely massive, so dogs go absolutely mental here, and there’s a walking path if you fancy a proper stretch. Views aren’t bad at all either, which you don’t always expect from a neighbourhood park in Blaydon. Nothing flashy, but it does exactly what it needs to.
