Playground

Cookstown’s wee playground does exactly what it needs to — swings and a climbing structure, nothing fancy, but kept in decent nick which honestly matters more than people give credit for. The safe surface underfoot means you’re not hovering anxiously while the younger ones scramble about. There’s a good stretch of open grass alongside if they need to burn off more energy. Don’t come expecting a massive play complex, but for toddlers and little ones it’s a solid spot for a quick run-around without driving anywhere far.
