Right in the heart of Ballyshannon, this recently done-up spot has become a proper local favourite. The slides got a fresh overhaul, and someone had the good sense to add fairy houses dotted around — the kids absolutely lose their minds over them. Do yourself a favour and take the walking path in the evening, because the bay views at that hour are genuinely hard to beat. There are fitness machines on site too, so you can convince yourself the walk wasn’t enough, and plenty of benches if you’d rather just sit and watch the water. It’s one of those parks that works for everyone, which around here isn’t something you can say lightly.
