Leyburn Playground

If you’re after a proper family day out without driving miles, this spot ticks a lot of boxes. There’s a decent football pitch and a big open grass field where kids can just run themselves ragged — honestly sometimes that’s all you need. The setting is the real draw though, right on the edge of some lovely woodland trails that are worth exploring once the kids have burned off some energy. It works for all ages, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here.
