Gosforth Children’s Playground

The zipline alone makes this worth the trip — it’s the kind of thing kids actually queue up for. They did a proper job with the 2024 upgrades too, new kit throughout and none of that tired, peeling stuff you see at half the playgrounds round here. Everything feels solid and well looked after, which isn’t something you can say about every council-run space in the area. Good for a range of ages, not just the little ones.
