Ford Park Playground

Right in the heart of Ulverston, Ford Park’s playground has had a decent refresh lately and it shows — the equipment feels solid and well-maintained, which isn’t always a given. Toddlers do really well here, with swings, a seesaw, slides, and a climbing structure that’s all at a manageable scale. Parents can keep an easy eye on the kids from pretty much anywhere, which makes life a lot less stressful. There’s a good stretch of open grass for running off steam, and the outdoor gym means adults aren’t just standing around watching. Honestly one of the better spots in the area for a proper family morning out.
