Ethel Ward is one of those parks that actually gets the age range right — there’s a proper toddler section for the little ones and then the zipline and climbing gear to keep older kids busy so nobody’s standing around bored. The football field and open grass get serious use, especially after school and weekends. Parents can keep an eye on everything pretty easily from the picnic tables, which is a genuine bonus. Parking’s straightforward too, so no circling the streets before you’ve even started. Solid local park for the 2-8 crowd.
