Chancel Park Childrens Playground

Decent little spot if you’re in the Scunthorpe area and need somewhere to take the kids for an hour. The fenced-off play area has swings, slides, and a climbing structure — nothing flashy, but it does the job for the 3–10 crowd, and you can actually keep an eye on them without constantly chasing around. Fair warning though, some of the equipment has seen better days and could do with a bit of attention from the council. Beyond the play area there’s a proper open grass field and a walking path, so dog walkers tend to make up a good chunk of the regulars here. It’s the kind of park locals use more than visitors, which honestly makes it a more relaxed afternoon out.
