Decent-sized park with enough room to actually breathe, which you don’t always get around Doncaster. The soccer field and walking path make it worth the trip if you’re after a bit of exercise or somewhere to let the dog stretch its legs after school pickup. It’s a solid picnic spot when the weather plays ball — plenty of space to spread out without sitting on top of other families. That said, keep your eyes open on the ground; broken glass has been a recurring issue here and it’s not always cleaned up as quickly as it should be. Worth a visit, but maybe bring closed-toe shoes and check the grass before you let little ones run loose.
