Newsham Park & Garden

One of Liverpool’s most underrated green spaces, honestly. The lake sets the whole mood — kids are drawn straight to the water feature while parents stake out a picnic table under the shade trees and actually get to relax for once. There’s loads of open grass for a kickabout or just letting little ones run themselves tired, and the walking path around the park is proper lovely without being too long. Parking’s easy, loos are on site, and it works just as well for a quiet Tuesday morning as it does on a busy weekend when events are on.
