The lodges are genuinely well-kitted out, and the grounds give you plenty of room to roam — there’s a walking path, open grass, and a water feature that the kids (and dogs) will inevitably gravitate toward. The lake nearby adds a nice bit of scenery that makes the whole place feel a bit more special than your average lodge park. Dogs are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated, which makes a real difference. Staff get consistently good feedback too, which isn’t something you can say about every place like this.
