Parfitt Drive Play Park

Right on the edge of some proper woodland, this little park punches above its weight for what’s on offer. The fenced play area keeps younger ones contained while older kids work their way up the climbing frame — there’s enough here to keep both happy without anyone getting bored too quickly. Parking’s right there, which sounds minor until you’ve got a pushchair and a bag full of snacks. Beyond the play equipment, there’s a decent stretch of open grass that works well for a kickabout, and the walking paths leading toward the woods make it worth sticking around once the kids have had their fill of the swings. Locals keep it in good shape and it shows.
