Gwydyr Park Play Area

If you’re heading into the Conwy Valley for a day out, this one’s worth knowing about. The play apparatus is genuinely decent — not the tired, half-broken stuff you find in a lot of small town parks — and there’s plenty of open grass for kids to just run around on. Picnic tables make it easy to settle in for a proper afternoon rather than a quick stop, and parking means you’re not circling the streets of Llanrwst with a carful of restless kids. The bike track is a nice touch, and with Gwydyr Forest right on the doorstep, older ones and adults can branch off onto the mountain bike trails while the little ones do their thing.
