Locals know this one as a proper no-fuss spot — clean, quiet, and easy to actually keep an eye on the kids from the picnic tables without chasing them halfway across the field. The play area is pitched just right for little ones, nothing overwhelming, which makes it a good shout if yours are still in that early toddler stage. There’s a solid stretch of open grass that dogs absolutely love, and the walking path keeps things ticking over without the chaos you’d get at bigger parks. Parking’s right there, benches are in decent shape, and the whole place just feels looked after.
