Decent little spot if you’re local to that part of Newark — it’s gated, which makes a real difference when you’ve got younger ones who bolt. The play area itself is kept tidy, and that’s not something you can say about every council-maintained space around here. There’s a decent stretch of open grass alongside it, good for a kickabout or just letting kids burn off energy. Fair warning though: after any proper rain it gets muddy pretty quickly, so maybe don’t bring the good shoes.
