If you’ve got kids under 8 and you’re tired of the same old soft play centres, this one’s worth the trip to Swadlincote. The outdoor beach and paddling pool setup genuinely sets it apart — not something you expect to find round here, and the little ones absolutely lose their minds for it. There’s a sandbox to keep the diggers happy and the whole area is enclosed, so you can actually relax without spending the whole visit in a panic. Parents tend to rave about the staff when it comes to birthday parties — they sort the food, keep things moving, and don’t leave you doing all the work yourself. Parking’s easy, you can see the kids from pretty much anywhere, and with forest trails nearby it’s a decent full day out if the weather holds.
