Dolgellau Park

If you’re local to Dolgellau, you already know this park punches above its weight for a town this size. The zipline gets the most attention — kids queue up for it on a decent day — but the climbing frame and slides keep the younger ones busy while the teens hog the zip wire. It’s properly enclosed, which makes a difference if you’ve got little ones who like to bolt, and visibility is good from the benches and picnic tables so you can actually sit down for five minutes. There’s a open grass field for a kick-about, the pond is right there adding a bit of scenery, and parking is easy enough that you won’t be circling the town cursing yourself for suggesting an outing.
