Abbey Park Play Area

Tucked into one of Leicester’s most loved green spaces, this little play area is squarely aimed at the toddler-and-preschool crowd. It’s small, which honestly works in its favour — you can keep eyes on a two-year-old without constantly chasing them across a massive site. The equipment is pitched right for the 2–6 age group, nothing too ambitious, nothing they’ll hurt themselves on. Locals with grandkids in tow seem to rate it highly for a quiet morning out. Don’t expect it to entertain older kids for long, but for the little ones it does exactly what it needs to.
