Arrow Valley Play Area

If you’re based in Redditch and haven’t taken the kids to Arrow Valley yet, you’re missing out on one of the better family days out in the area. The playground has slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps toddlers and school-age kids busy long enough for you to actually sit down on a bench and breathe. Pack a picnic or grab something from the cafe — there’s plenty of table space and the setting right by the lake makes it feel like more of a proper outing than just a quick park run. The walking path around the grounds is a decent length without being punishing, and the open grass field gives kids room to just run about. It’s well kept, parking is easy enough, and the lake views are genuinely lovely on a good day.
