Spider Park

If you haven’t spotted the spider climbing frame yet, that’s genuinely the first thing the kids will make a beeline for — it’s a proper standout piece and keeps them busy longer than you’d expect. The park works well for all ages, which isn’t always the case around here. There’s open grass for a kickabout, benches dotted around so you can actually sit and watch rather than hover, and the whole place is kept pretty tidy. Fruit trees nearby add a bit of character to the surroundings. A solid local option that doesn’t get as much credit as it deserves.
