Play At Cudmore

Out on East Mersea, this one’s a solid spot if you’ve got kids who need to burn off some energy. There’s a decent climbing structure to keep them busy and a sandbox that younger ones tend to go straight for. The open grass field alongside it gives you real room to spread out — bring a kite, let the dog loose, whatever you fancy. Parking’s on-site, which matters when you’re hauling all the usual family gear. Best suited to kids three and up, and honestly a good excuse to get out to Mersea if you haven’t been in a while.
