Pittville Park Playground

One of Cheltenham’s best free days out, honestly. The playground is fully fenced, which makes a real difference when you’ve got little ones who like to bolt — you can actually sit on one of the shaded benches without having a mild panic. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and a tire swing, plus a water feature that will absolutely soak your kids on a warm afternoon (bring a spare set of clothes, you’ve been warned). The lake right nearby makes the whole setting feel a bit more special than your average urban play area, and after a run around on the open grass field, you can spread out at the picnic tables while the kids recover. Parking’s available too, which for central Cheltenham is never something to take for granted.
