Prestbury Play Park

Honestly, this park punches well above its weight for a suburban green space in Cheltenham. The enclosed play area is properly looked after — surfaces are clean, equipment isn’t falling apart — which sounds like a low bar but you’d be surprised. Older kids aren’t left out either, with a basketball court and soccer field that actually get used, and there’s enough open grass that someone’s always kicking a ball around on a weekend. Parents can keep an eye on things easily, there’s parking right there, and the benches and picnic tables mean you’re not standing around awkwardly while the kids do their thing. Dogs are welcome too, which makes it a solid all-rounder for pretty much anyone in the area.
