It’s enclosed, which takes the edge off for parents, and the sightlines are good enough that you can actually sit at one of the picnic tables without constantly craning your neck. Restrooms and parking on site make it a practical choice for a longer outing rather than just a quick stop. The splash park nearby is a solid bonus in summer, and the walking paths that run out toward the woods give older kids and adults somewhere to stretch their legs. One of the better-maintained spots in the area — it doesn’t have that neglected feeling some local parks can get.
