One of the better spots in High Wycombe for a proper family day out — and it’s had a solid renovation that actually made a difference. The climbing structure is the main draw for kids, with enough towers, nets, and ramps to keep them busy for a good while, and the sandbox and swings cover the younger ones who aren’t ready for all that. Parents get a decent setup too: picnic tables, benches, good sightlines across the play areas, and parking that doesn’t require a 10-minute hike. The lake nearby gives the whole place a different feel to your average urban park, and on a good day there’s usually an ice cream van to seal the deal. Bring a ball — the soccer field and basketball court mean older kids and adults have something to do beyond just watching.
