Westwood Park

Gets busy on weekends for good reason — this is one of the better all-rounders in Amersham. The enclosed play area has slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps kids up to about 12 entertained, and the hedge boundary means you’re not constantly chasing toddlers toward the car park. Beyond that you’ve got a basketball court, a soccer field, and loads of open grass if the kids just need to run. The woodland trails alongside the park are worth knowing about too, especially if you want to stretch the visit into a proper afternoon out. Picnic tables and parking on site make the logistics easy enough.
