On a hot day, this place gets busy for good reason — the splash park is genuinely one of the better ones in the area and kids absolutely lose their minds over it. There are slides, picnic tables, and enough open grass to actually spread out without feeling on top of strangers. The walking path along the water is a nice touch if you want to stretch your legs after the little ones have worn themselves out. Parking and toilets make it practical for a proper half-day out rather than just a quick stop. Locals know to get here early in summer.
