Penenden Heath Play Area

The refurb here made a real difference — it’s one of those spots that actually gets looked after properly, which you notice the moment you arrive. Swings, a proper football pitch, and open grass mean kids of pretty much any age have something to do. The whole site is flat, so buggies and little legs alike won’t struggle. What I really like is that you can tack on a woodland walk straight from here, so it doesn’t have to be a quick in-and-out trip. Free parking on site too, which around Maidstone is never worth taking for granted.
